Superintendent’s Message
As we look ahead to the 2026–2027 school year, I am proud to share our proposed
district budget, one that reflects both fiscal responsibility and our continued commitment
to providing exceptional opportunities for our students.
Before looking ahead, I would also like to take a moment to celebrate the wonderful
things happening across our school this time of year. Our recent high school musical
was truly outstanding and a testament to the talent and dedication of our students and
staff. We are already looking forward to our upcoming elementary musical, which is sure
to be just as special. In addition, our spring sports season is now underway, and we are
excited for the energy and teamwork it brings. We also look forward to our upcoming art
show and spring concerts, which will continue to showcase the accomplishments of our
students.
Developing a school budget is a complex and thoughtful process that requires balancing
rising contractual expenses and operational costs with the needs and expectations of
our students, staff, and community. Throughout this process, we have remained focused
on being responsible stewards of taxpayer resources while continuing to prioritize the
programs and experiences that make our school strong.
This proposed budget maintains our commitment to high-quality educational
programming across all grade levels. It supports rigorous academic instruction,
innovative learning opportunities, and the continuation of extracurricular programs that
play a vital role in student growth. We firmly believe that athletics, arts, clubs, and
enrichment activities are essential in helping students develop confidence, leadership
skills, and a sense of belonging.
Our goal remains clear: to prepare every student to graduate as a competitive, well-
rounded individual who represents our school and community in a positive and
meaningful way. This means not only equipping students with strong academic
foundations, but also fostering character, resilience, and the skills needed to succeed in
an ever-changing world.
I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to our Board of Education, administrative
team, faculty, and staff for their time, expertise, and dedication throughout the budget
development process. Their thoughtful work has ensured that this plan reflects our
district’s goals and our community’s expectations.
Finally, thank you to our families and community members for your continued support of
our school. Your partnership is essential, and we are grateful for the trust you place in
us each day. Together, we will continue to build a future that supports every student’s
success.
