Secondary Principal, Panama Central School District
Hello! My name is Scott Costantini, and I am the secondary principal at Panama Central School District. I mainly serve our 7th-12th grade students, but I support all students in our UPK-12 building. I grew up in Jamestown and I am a graduate of Jamestown High School. I completed my undergraduate studies at SUNY Fredonia where I received my bachelors degrees in Social Studies Adolescent Education and History. Shortly after, I continued my education at SUNY Fredonia where I received my masters in Curriculum and Instruction and Inclusive Education. Most recently, I earned my certification in School Building and School District Leadership from the University of Rochester. Prior to this position, I had been serving as the summer school administrator and as a social studies teacher at Sherman Central School district.
Outside of school, I live in Jamestown with my wife, two boys, and a dog. In the winters, I love hitting the slopes and skiing. In the summers, I enjoy boating, wakeboarding, and cycling. Most importantly, I love spending time with my family and friends.
I decided to go into the field of administration for the main purpose of improving student’s academic abilities for a new century and to increase civic participation in an ever-changing world. Before any of this can be done, students need to have positive relationships with fellow students and teachers in the building. It is my job to do everything within my power to help support our faculty, protect each and every student in the building, and ensure a safe and collaborative learning environment for all students. I am proud to be working for this community, and I look forward to getting to know all of you!
